OSLO ART FAIR 2009

Vi ønsker billedkunstnere, fotografer, skulptører og gallerister velkommen til å delta i Oslo Art Fair 6. - 8. november 2009.

We welcome artists, art photographers, sculptors and gallery owners to take part in Oslo Art Fair 6.-8. november 2009

Messen er selvstendig og arrangeres parallelt med messene Kunst & håndverk, Hjem & hobby og Samler & antikk og Alternativmessen. Kunst for Alle og Norges Varemesse samarbeider om en årlig kunstmesse i årene fremover og messe nr. 2 er nå 6 - 8 november 2009.

Vår visjon
Gi talentfulle kunstnere stor eksponering og direkte salg til en kundemasse på ca. 30.000, samt legge til rette for at publikum skal få direkte kontakt med kunstnere for større forståelse av kunstens mangfold.

Hvem kan delta?
Gallerister og du som arbeider med bilder, foto, skulptur, installasjoner, objekter eller lignende. Vi har et kunstutvalg som vurderer søkere for å kvalitetssikre utstillerne.

Synergi
Oslo Art Fair legges sammen med flere andre etablerte messer for å sikre et meget godt messebesøk fra første time, samt at messene samlet har en positiv synergieffekt på hverandre. Norges Varemesse og Kunst for Alle vil sørge for betydelig markedsføring av messen i presse og media. Bli med og få din del av oppmerksomheten på Oslo Art Fair 2009. Vi regner med at ca 30.000 besøkende vil finne veien til messen i løpet av helgen.

Vi vil selvsagt markedsføre Oslo Art fair som et selvstendig arrangement i rette fora. Etter messen i 2008 ble det ønsket at OAF legges nærmere inngangen, og det skjer iår! OAF får en strategisk plassering nærme hovedinngangene - som en separat utstilling.

Messen vil også bli tydelig merket og avskjermet. En egen messe i messen. Vi jobber også aktivt for å lage aktiviteter inne på Oslo Art Fair's eget område i hallen. Følg med! Websidene blir fortløpende oppdatert.

Art is in the picture as never before. Join in and take part in this grand event. People are now taking down the posters from their walls and are replacing them with original art, art societies and collectors are looking for new talents.

As a participant you will contribute in making the art fair into a special event, and we welcome you to apply. In order to secure a fair with an aesthetic impression, we will have an overall and discrete design; the stands will be made by professionals in the trade. .

Our vision is to give talented artists great exposure and increased sales, and to let the public audience have a possibility to have direct contact with the artist, in order to enhance the understanding of the variations of the arts.

Who can participate? If you work with paintings, graphics, photo, sculpture, installations, objects or such, you may apply to participate. A jury will evaluate the artworks, in order to secure a fair of high quality both for the participating artists and the visiting audience. We want the fair to continue in the years to come. We value originality, style and technique. Reach a greater audience through Oslo Art Fair!

Art fairs are common in other countries and cities throughout the world. And more are coming. This is how is should be, giving all involved parties better opportunities to get out to the public. Up to now there has not been an art fair in Oslo. The aim is that you as the artist will meet a targeted audience, people searching for art for their homes, their offices, or gallery owners and institutions seeking new talents.

By combining Oslo Art Fair with other etablished fairs we are bound to get a lot of visitors by the first day and in addition the fairs have a positive synergy effect on each other. We calculate with over 30.000 visitors in the course of the weekend.

Oslo Art Fair will be marketed in the right fora as an independent event. The marketing will be aimed at the public in the time prior to the fair, and there will be active PR and cooperation with the press. Flyers will be sent to the participants, so that they will contribute and distribute to their own network. Well ahead of the fair, participants will receive all relevant information together with flyers, posters and invitations.
